Our story
Why we built MyTeslaMate
TeslaMate is the best open-source data logger for Tesla vehicles — beautiful Grafana dashboards, detailed charging and trip history, and a wealth of statistics about your car. But running it yourself means managing a server, a PostgreSQL database, backups, security and constant updates. Many owners love the data but not the maintenance.
We built MyTeslaMate to remove that barrier. You get your own private TeslaMate instance in the cloud, ready in minutes, with the same dashboards and your full history — and none of the server administration. If you already self-host, we can import your existing backup so you keep every kilometer.
Over time MyTeslaMate has grown beyond dashboards into a complete Tesla toolkit: an official Tesla Fleet API proxy, telemetry alerts, and automations for both vehicles and energy products like the Powerwall. Today thousands of Tesla owners around the world rely on it every day.
